Thank you. I had noticed the waves seemed to be coming in cyclically, so I started doing a run of auto-shot photos as the next normal wave might have been expected. It took me about five waves (and 150 exposures!) to catch one this nice.
That's the nice thing about doing digital stuff. You take 150 shots, sort out the two or three you like and delete the rest. I have four one-terabyte SD cards that will hold over twenty thousand photos each, so I can shoot all day without worrying about changing SD cards.
