Price hikes are global too....no country spared... lemons & green chillies are untouchable here these days.... diesel, petrol are like buying Gold 😓 People with fixed income suffer the most. The poem takes you away from these mundane issues 🙂

I imagine COVID will take on a seasonal nature, too, with winter being the most likely time...Many have tried to prolong the feeling.

Always glad to hear that a friend has had that next booster, wondering when I'll be in line for it.Â
And with every increase in costs, there's the excuse, But all our expenses are higher--Well, so are all of mine! It's a kindness to hold the line at least on flowers!

The advantage we have is they are cut and sold the same day almost no fancy
wrapping. I think some folk buy them for the local cemetery. Although the squirrelsÂ
chew some varieties.

Yes a bit of a long way around I suppose not many check the numbers. Although it is
 the same with sweets, I am sure they are much smaller than they were originally.Â

I think the heating bills will be the main pain here, although we have had the mildest winter for years. I am trying to keep the heating low in the greenhouses, but I like a warm shower.Â

Good Afternoon
It seems like our prices are going up daily. Gas, Food, utility bills, insurance, and the list goes on and on. I wonder when prices will stabilize. I hope they don't continue to rise because I don't have a plan if they do.

Prices are going up here, also. Surprising how much. I also read
the Charmin toilet paper company is reducing the number of sheets per roll so they don't have to bring up the price. Which only means we'll have to buy an extra pack every now and then. I've given up ice cream. Too much sugar and too many empty calories, and it costs more. But when the weather turns warm, my resolve to quit it may weaken. I refuse to think about a dip of vanilla all drizzled with chocolate syrup and a dollop of whipped cream. Nope! No sprinkles, either.Â

Good afternoon
The prices for everything are high here too. I was looking at Mother's Day flower arrangements to send out next month for mine and my hubbies mothers, and I found that they all have some hefty price tags this year.
