. Yes they are very good for beast health. I stuff their marrow bones with a mix of sweet potatoes, tuna and brown rice, then freeze the bones. All I have to do is go near the freezer and the beasts become very alert!

To be honest, we are restrained from eating potatoes at the moment my brother has gone on a slimming phase. He cooks, so I am grateful.

Good Afternoon

C_C_T, you never miss a chance to make me smile. One must be careful when they fall asleep with a cup of hot tea. I believe tea is good for us but not when we are wearing it. I love sweet potatoes but I always bake them. They are much too hard to peel. I stumbled across a tidbit quite by accident. When I bake them I put aluminum foil on the pan and I sprinkle them with olive oil. It makes the potatoes nice and crispy. I used to use butter and it's not quite the same.

Haha - quirky poem! Have to admit I talk to sweet potatoes when I peel them; they are HARD to disrobe and to cut for steaming. What I mumble to them is not at all complementary. If my beasts didn't like them so much, I wouldn't even buy them.

I love a good potato dish. Baked, fried, roasted, mashed, or concentrated into vodka, it's the perfect veggie.
