Sadly, many flower plants are either toxic to animals or if eaten. Of course, flowers
were mainly grown in Monastery gardens or by Nuns for medicinal purposes in the
past. I suspect that the few folks who did have gardens grew vegetables. I used to
sell bedding plants, but I tried not to sell any that had toxic
properties.

Sassy, I had no idea a place like this existed. I wonder how the gardeners take care of the plants. It would be a dangerous job.
