I didn't, CCT!

Squirrels will kill and eat baby birds, so maybe mice too?  It wasn't a joke that her son has COVID. He's still in isolation. Bummer for them all.

She really wanted just to stay home, Kabu. Plus planting season

or the prep for it is much on her mind. Animals are all doing good - they keep it lively!

It's certainly to be considered before doing anything we were used

to doing without a thought. Precautions are a must!

She makes me smile too, Goldiec. All of my little ones do, but I see

her more often than the others, so we are closer, I believe.I know if I tell her I can't keep up, she'll pat me on the shoulder and say "There, there, Mémère. It's okay."

Was working some of this weekend, but other than that it was good, thank you!

I agree, but so many are not working towards an ending either.

Re: Fingers crossed that it is an April Fool's joke. What a crashing

It wasn't. He's still in isolation until Thursday at midnight. 30,000 daily cases here in Quebec again. At least people are still wearing their masks here, not so much in Ontario.

Re: adnohr

I hope you will not, I wonder if squirrels eat mice? I don't think anyone would make a joke about Covid. Well if they did a dead squirrel would be appropriate.

So sorry to read about the rotten Covid but I do hope Karen still ennjoys her time away. Take care of you and the animal family.

Disappointments seem to be the bottom line of the pandemic. Not just spoiled vacations, but lost relationships and plans for lives. Pandemic is like another world war.

Good Morning

I have to say your little granddaughter makes me smile whenever I read about what she's up to.  She made my day!  I love the way she thinks. She wants Grandma to keep up!  I hope everything is okay with your family.  After the Parrot incident, I think you deserve a peaceful weekend.

Good morning

Good luck to your family. This COVID pandemic just doesn't seem to have an ending.

Fingers crossed that it is an April Fool's joke. What a crashing

way to end up all those happy plans.  After two years in limbo, those joyous escapes are more than a break - they're necessary therapy.

And after posting this, I am wondering if the text about Karen's son having COVID after his trip to Miami is not an elaborate April Fool's joke that I swallowed hook, line and sinker? If that turns out to be the case. I just may just go downstairs and leave a deceased mouse in her bed. It should be pretty ripe by the time she gets home.
