Maybe we wouldn't feel the same away about it if it happened now at our age, but our memories of any specific time can have us relive those same feelings as when it happened, no matter how long ago, do you not find?

Kind words will always find the heart, and the sweet sense of being
necessary to someone - or to have attracted the attention of someone we admire - never gets old. I do like the way you put the verse in just the right way to show that impulsiveness of being 17 that doesn't seem to ever go away.

There are always emotions to feel. A lovely garden always makes me happy to visit and sweet birds singing. I bought two daffodils in bloom today in a pot to enjoy. The ones I planted have not come up.
