I go back to my Grandma's saying about the devil finding work for idle hands. Today's population seems to be centered on instant gratification, and many will do anything to achieve that without working too hard for it.

I believe life is like a Pendulum. It swings one way then the other. Silly turns to evil turns back to reality turns to too narrow minded back to common sense back to sillyness and then darkness. When I was little people were licking their wounds after a World Wide depression and WW11. Women were being pushed back into the home to have babies and raise them. All of Australia had only 8 million people. Then the swinging sixties with health care in most countries and children getting a better education. Now it is into something the feels evil to me!

Manners are out the window. Empathy is nearly gone. Road rage is all the rage. The older generations are being left behind as technology surges forward, and everyone wants something for nothing. We are living in a TikTok world where everything has nothing to do with common sense, and the people who will eventually rule the world are the followers.

Sassy, as far as common sense goes I'm not sure it will ever be back. When I read an article I question what is going on in the world. I don't know when but it's been gone for a while.
