Re: Re: C_C_T, that is my plan. Better to be safe than sorry.
As for the cold weather. it played havoc on my spring blooms, but by the grace of God, they have survived.

Charlie and I might plant vegies again this year, though we have not been remarkably successful the previous two summers. But we both agree that in coming times, the ability to grow one's own food is worth developing.

I had never heard of brassica so googled it. I expect it would be a fave of mine too because it is much like broccoli, which I really enjoy, toots and all. I make a broccoli/cauliflower soup and it's very tasty. Like your poet, I will do my best to make a poker faced person smile; I always feel sorry for their bad humour.

Re: Good Afternoon Sassy
Yes, try to at least get your third jab. We never used to plant tender stuff outside until the first of June, but the weather is so changeable the plum and pear blossoms are out and suddenly there is a forecast of cold weather. I think you know how to cook better than we do.

Re: Kabu
That's the way to do it, I could do with them at times.

Good afternoon
I have never grown squash, but I love the yellow variety. It shreds like spaghetti noodles and tastes wonderful when roasted with olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt & pepper. I can't wait to plant my peppers, tomatoes, and onions. In my area of the world though, I must wait until the weekend after Mother's Day so that the danger of frost is gone. I am slightly behind, but I am planning on getting my 3rd jab. A 4th is recommended for people over 50 the last I heard.

Re: Good Morning Goldiec
Goldiec it is not wise to eat raw stick beans. I have done it occasionally just nibbled a small one whilst picking half an acre of them but it is not wise. Lots of things have subtle deterrents to preserve the host. Some of the predators are also cunning just eating the parts that we do, like slugs in potatoes and caterpillars eating tomatoes they do not touch the leaves.

Dear CCT - I was reminded of you at the Walmart checkout lane
a little while ago. Distinguished gentleman in a green puffy vest pushing the cart behind me in line - two five-pound bags of fertilizer was all he bought. A gardner for sure, and I'm guessing he probably plants flowers, tomatoes and green peppers. I hope your beans are delicious this year...

Good Morning
I have to say you are using words that I'm not familiar with but I did look them up and I love these vegetables. I think zucchini is my all-time favorite one. I have three in the fridge right now. I'm glad you got your 4th vaccine. They are not offering it here that I'm aware of. I love green beans and I remember my aunt always used to grow them and make up a big pot that would sit on the stove. They were so good. I'm not sure how long she would cook them.

I had to look up courgette and brassica, but I love them and didn't even know it. I do a lot of different things with them for meals.
