Enjoyed the image of the squirrel doing a Jimmy Durante ! We have all colors of them here; red, black, gray. The ones in my roof are the black ones, and they're huge. And noisy. I hope you are feeling better today?

The squirrels I see in Maryland are all brown. I've never seen a red or gray squirrel.

Good Morning

Our squirrels are all brown but I've only seen one and he went away again.  I hope they come back soon.  Some of our little brown birds are back so I have hope for others when it warms up.  We do have plenty of deer in the yard though.  They usually stay back by the woods.  I hope you have a good day!

We only have greys locally it is said that they killed off most red ones. Although in

certain areas the greys are disposed of and reds survive. It is a sleepy time somehow.

what a wonderful experience with a squirrel

Here they are all red. Bella is a gorgeous red with a big bushy tail. She seems to have the yard all to herself these days.

The squirrels who hung out here, were brownish gray I'm pretty sure.

We lost a couple to the hawk and such, but I'd welcome others very much.

Good afternoon

Uh, oh, you have a case of the humdrums. I hope that you find a way to warm up your bones and feel better. As for the squirrels in my area, we have two varieties that visit my yard daily. The first is bright orange and brown with big, fluffy tails. The female is fat and she is a bit persnickety about the seeds, corn, and nuts that I put out. She has a hot temper and charges the smaller squirrels and birds who dare to interrupt her buffet. The orange and brown male companions hang upside down from my bird feeders and do what they can to get a meal. The second set of squirrels is a bunch of scrawny gray squirrels who take whatever tidbits they can locate throughout my yard.
