I believe what you've photographed is a bobcat, not a cougar.

Good afternoon
This is one really awesome kitty cat. #6 was not viewable without signing into the site. #3 looks as though he may be washing up for his meal. #7 is a great picture that shows that he may have just finished his lunch. #4 shows that he now may need a nap after that lunch.
