Re: Re: Goldiec,

Ciel, I think my recipe is sweet too.  I do use pork and beans and baked beans but then so many things go into the recipe including brown sugar and a little maple syrup.  This recipe has cinnamon, onions, ketchup, and a touch of mustard too.  It's very flavorful. I never dreamed of putting cinnamon in my baked beans but it really adds to the taste.  You can put bacon in too but I usually don't add bacon.

Re: Goldiec,

I'd love to see your baked beans recipe! I like the canned ones, but they are too sugary for me.

Re: sassyass,

That's also a good option, to make lunch meat roll-- I have to remember to try that one!

Good afternoon

I like seafood salad. It cuts down on the carbs by eating it in a lettuce leaf. I love this idea. I have a habit of eating the interior of a sandwich, leaving the bread behind. I normally roll the cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mustard inside of a piece of lunchmeat and call it good.

Good Afternoon

Ciel, I'm always learning and searching for new recipes.  I bought some spring rolls from Costco and I want to try them in the air fryer.  They are made of vegetables and I thought I might like them.  I've used lettuce to make a sandwich and it's very good.  I have to say my cooking in the kitchen is by trial and error.  Sometimes I come across a really good recipe and it turns out good and other times the recipe doesn't turn out good.  The kids love my pasta salad and I got the recipe at a picnic years ago.  You never know when a good recipe will cross your path.  I got my baked beans recipe years ago from a friend and it's so good.
