- Go to Anger Never Helps a Bad Situation
Very wise, TAPS. There is so much anger in the world. It'd be nice to see less of it.

At least he did go for help, even if forced somewhat. I hope it worked? I would be interested in knowing what they teach to control bursts of extreme anger, those that would make one beat on anyone or anything. As you say, anger has always been there, and maybe we're more aware of it because of easy information access these days.

When I was a journalism student in the early 80s (grandma goes to
college) I was assigned a story on televangelists - some of whom were being rounded up as shysters and scammers. Among them were Jimmy and Tammy Faye, and since doing that story and finding out that so many have private planes, fancy boats and mansions in exclusive neighborhoods, plus their own private security and the trappings of wealth I just haven't found their message very appealing. Can't help but remember the Christ they claim to follow loved and cared for the poor and took aim at the money lenders, etc... You are absolutely right about anger - that reaction never solves any dispute or settles any question. I love your gentle heart.

Good Afternoon
Taps, it's nice to know that when something good comes from something bad it's a win for everybody. Bad situations can escalate and go from bad to worse. Thankfully that did not happen. I hope you have a good night. Stay warm.

What a lovely post this is. You always leave me with positive thinking, something positive that so often turns my thoughts to a higher plain.
