Good Morning

It really sounds like you all had a wonderful party.  I'm so sorry that your granddaughter was feeling sick but thankfully she bounced back to enjoy the party.  I think paper plates are a very good idea when it comes to clean-up.  I know when we have get-togethers and I'm the one cooking I use every pot and pan and baking dish in the house.  It's quite a job to clean up but I do try to clean as I go.  I know your daughter-in-law went home after the party feeling loved.  I bet your fur babies were exhausted by the time everybody went home.  It's nice to know that everyone was talking, laughing, and enjoying their time together.  I think that's good for the soul.  When the family is together I think everything is right with the world.  The pandemic kept families apart and that was not good.  I hope you have a wonderful day.  Now you can start planning for the next party.  My daughter-in-law told me that when her Grandma was living every time they would sit down to plan a party she would add spaghetti to the plan.  She used jar spaghetti sauce and I have to say that's where the mess in the kitchen would start because I would insist on homemade spaghetti sauce and out would come all my pots and pans.  I do this every time.
