and see thing. As usual, postering plays into the constant quest for publicity, so I suspect many knock the players just because they think that's what people want to hear.

I'm a diehard hockey fan too, and one of my favorite players this year
is Alex Romanov, a young Canadien player. An up and coming star! He has said that he also has family in Russia and many friends in Ukraine and is very worried because his attempts to reach them have been unsuccessful. I threaten to throw my parrot into a stew at least once a day , but I guess she knows I'm not serious because she just keeps on doing what she wants to do - ignores me totally.

You and Karen would get along well!
I'm a newbie to gardening. With the dogs around, not many animals bother the gardens here. It seems March up here has decided to throw its lot in with the winter season, so I doubt much will be done until the end of April - apparently we need to get past the last frost before planting.

He forgets that the leaders and the citizens are not necessarily of the same mind. It's just so sad that one tyrant's ambition can ruin relations between hordes of people who would probably get along just fine otherwise.

I love to read about the life you lead with beasts and family members and weather, etc. I sure wish I could snap my fingers and make the Russian/Ukraine problem right itself and make them love each other.

I can't understand why anyone would knock the Russian player for saying he wants peace. Anyone who considers what it must be like to have family there would surely sympathize with the dangers they could face. You will enjoy your garden, I'm sure. It will take the extra protective outdoor gear but will be worth it.

John and I are diehard hockey fans. Alexander Ovechkin is a seriously good hockey player. I feel so bad for these people. Putin is a monster with no soul. As for the animals, your feathered friend is just an awesome little dudette. Birds are mouthy, and rightfully so. they are such amazing creatures.

Good Morning
I look forward to reading your posts about the gardens this year. I've always loved the snow and I think it's beautiful when it's freshly fallen snow. Because we live in the city by the time the snow melts it's not so pretty. I'm forever a romantic though so I will always find delight in the snow and the beautiful icicles that form here there and everywhere. I am looking forward to spring though because I want to work on the garden and the flowers. We've had our garden in the same place for a long time and I think we should have our soil tested to see if we need to add any nutrients to the ground. We've thought about moving it but it's all fenced in because of all the animals that live around here. I'm not sure what we are going to do. I hope you have a good day.

I agree with you about Ovechkin. He has to think of his family first in that sort of situation.
I saw Dominek Hasek wants the NHL to suspend all Russian players' contracts. To me, that's incredibly racist on his part.
