When I was young we had a big console radio and no T.V. We listened to a lot of music and I do remember that song. My folks did not get a tv until after I had married and moved away. We did have record players and lots and lots of records most of which we bought at the Jenkins Music Company.

I remember those songs - "There'll be bluebirds over, the white cliffs of Dover," ... among other songs of hope. And the other two as well, playing on the kitchen radio.

Not one for today Pat. I was trying to think what I keep remembering.
One was The white cliffs of Dover sung by Vera Lynn well near enough.
I used to listen to the girls sing on the buses when they came back to a camp
'They tell us we're too young to be in love.'
One I keep singing well sort of trying to.
You made me love you, I did not want to do it.

Oh geez, now this song is stuck in my head. 
This happens to me every single night after I get woke up by the hubby tossing and turning from his ankle pain. Last night, it was Reba's song, "I'm Gonna Take That Mountain." I really have got to stop watching music videos on Youtube.
