I have done that. Not because I didn't buy anything I wanted, I am just too tired from the shopping, unloading and then putting everything away.

Well, Sassy we obtain all our groceries by delivery now. So no temptation to get a quick meal.

There are places here with take-out food that have balanced meal options. Outback, for example, has healthier choices which may consist of a protein, veg, salad and a carb. Not processed meats or saturated fats.

Re: SG, I had no clue that this was an option for diabetics.
I figured that processed meats and saturated fats were a no-no for folks on special diets.

When you have a Diabetic in the household who has to eat "right now" and you're on the way back from a big grocery shop - that's what you do: you stop for take-out.🤣
