Yes,I have just bought a watch that tells one house many steps one does etc. I have started to use it if anyone phones me. see they are grumbling about folks burning wood fires, it appears to be as bad as coal. I've whispered it in case there are any wood-burning bloggers present.

Thankfully we missed the worst here Ciel . Also having houses around does make a difference. The last bad storm we had blew one of my thirty-foot greenhouses down. I was picking up glass forever.

Seems you are getting some fierce stormy weather, where it's been a pretty mild winter so far. Here, it's been a yoyo of well-above freezing, to well below, even to the negatives in Farenheit. We have not had serious winds since the turn of the year. Well, batten down the hatches and any cats in your garden! Be well!

I hope you are staying out of the wind today. Anything that needs fixing can be taken care of later. It's better to be safe than sorry. There are lots of things to do in the house including drinking tea. Stay warm! I'm staying in today too! It's so cold outside and everything is covered in ice and snow.
