Oops! LOL, you know how much Diet Coke I drink... I can't hold my cola as well as I used to.

BTW- I have just been notified the repair I made in my story is 'on the way!'

Publishing Rights

I hold the rights, and I have fixed it. It was one of those little details that the only reason I saw it was because it sat there, all by its little lonesome. I immediately sent the 'repair' to Brian Moriarty, my Audible narrator.

I'll use your post to push something. If any of you are considering having an Audible story done that would use a male voice, I highly recommend Brian. Many narrators are asking and getting upwards of $200 and much more per finished hour. That means an eight-hour audiobook will cost you $1600. I have offered Brian more, but our standard rate is $80 per finished hour. He set that rate. We have a good relationship, and he has been highly reliable.

Just as short stories are beginning to rise in popularity, so are short Audible books. I have several out that are less than an hour and two that are about 25 to 30 minutes... but they sell.

Do you have the rights or the publisher? If you do, have it edited and republish it on amazon.

Good morning

You are an amazing friend to do such a nice thing. I could have used an editor when my first book was published back in 2016. The shocking part is that it was published by a reputable publisher, a sister company of Reader's Digest, but they just put it out there as is.
