I haven't been on the market for a long time, Pat_B, and am astounded
by the salaries being offered!! No wonder they can't find employees - it's hardly even poverty level!

The food is expensive, but I believe that's the only place they make any kind of profit at all. It cost 24$ for the entrance (just my son and his daughter), then 14$ for a small popcorn and a juice and a pop. Anyone with a big family would find it nearly impossible to enjoy what once was a family outing.

Re: So do I, FSI. It's difficult enough for families with both parents
working, but Sunday's being 'just another day', finding time for family togetherness is sometimes left aside.

I believe we were in better physical shape at that time, CCT.
Today their brains are stimulated by everything going on around them, but nothing gives me more pleasure than watching one of the grandchildren bend down to smell a flower, or pull a toboggan up a hill, or attempt to climb a tree.

If theatres didn't overcharge for their snacks, people wouldn't be
so likely to try to sneak food in. I hope you find the exact job you want and they pay you what you're worth!

Good Morning
Happy Valentine's Day! As always I love your posts. I can just picture the whole scene about the movies. I loved it. Food is so expensive at the movie theater. The movie doesn't cost as much as the food. It's too bad about the Fire Alarm though. Thankfully it was a false alarm. I'm hoping that you get the perfect job! Enjoy your day!

Of course, children mature more quickly. Light is probably one of the main reasons.
As kids, we were always in bed at seven o'clock even in summer. Also no news or
not many things to explore. It is still quite remarkable. Hope you get fixed with a
suitable work schedule. Take care.
