Maybe, FSI, but she won't accept just any child.
My rugrats can vouch to the parrot's being nasty; she was first adopted by their mother and they have each felt her bite!

Your little girlie has a way of calming down with her magic...I can testify to that Personally!! But that bird is definitely missing somethingthat she loves. It could be the hockey! You make me think of my crows. I miss them a lot.

The parrot could recognize the innocence of a child's hand, I feel.

Mine reacts better with men than with women, Sea Gypsy.
And she wants nothing to do with the Rugrats. Little FLea seems to be the only child who has success with her. I'm looking forward to see if it was just a one-time thing, or if their friendship will continue.

The keyword for mine is smart asses, Sassyass
She does what she wants. A dog is one thing, even a cat to some extent, but I don't even know where to begin with training that feathered witch.

I'm prejudiced, of course, Goldiec.
But I believe she does. She is just so calm, and seems to care.

Crows are extremly intelligent, they say. They certainly can take apart
a garbage bag outside! Yes, my Little Flea has an affinity with all animals, and apparently with vulnerable humans too.

My friend has parrots. She once had a Gray who only liked men. He bit so badly so often that she did eventually re-home him. I wonder if Pistache lived in a home with children in her other life before coming to your house? She and Little Flea did do well together. Your magical Little Flea... Awesome!

Good evening
Birds are amazing creatures. They are smart and they are smart asses. They are delightful pets that know what they know and want what they want. They have the ability to mock us and to entertain whenever they feel the need.

Good Afternoon
This is such an awesome post. I can just see your granddaughter working her magic without a thought of what she was doing. I love it. I think she's going to be like Grandma. She has a way with animals of all kinds.

That is just amazing. I don't think I could have a parrot or a 'keet'.
Something about growing up next to the forest & enjoying birds outdoors I guess. I think they know when a human is a friend, I used to be greeted every time I left my house in Seattle by a particular crow - I called it my butler after awhile. Maybe he was just announcing my presence to the others. Anyway it feels like your little flea has an intuitive link to your parrot.
