I also check the tracks front and back to see who has been around during the snow days. It's too deep for the cats right now, but it appears that Milo, Charlie's dog who is a sort of medium size, danced up onto the back porch and around the yard--all of which means he leapt the short fence between our back yards. It would not be the first time!

You have some good folks around! Here, neighbors barely know one another even to say hi.

frogs are amazing. The always come back from somewhere in Canada in the Spring. I think they must go down deep and sort of sleep.

The pie comes from the deli at our local Dierberg's supermarket.

Good afternoon

Do you ship to Pennsylvania? John would just die to have a chocolate silk pie.

It is great to have a kind neighbour, it is miserable if the snow becomes trodden into ice. I hope your little furry friend did not get lifted by a bird of prey. I think you would have seen scuffle marks if it had. Perhaps it thought better of it and just ran back to its hideout.

Good Afternoon

Pat, I love the way you pay attention to detail.  That is not a quality that many people have but you obviously do.  A lot is going on outside when you are in your house toasty warm.  It was so nice of your neighbor to help you with shoveling.  She is a real gem.  We try to help our neighbors too as much as we can.  We got our neighbor's paper for him today.  He's 90 years old and it's hard for him to get out in the snow.  He does have someone plow the drive but Roy always shovels the sidewalk for him.  I hope you have a good day.  Stay warm and safe!
