I am so glad you were on your soap box, the crazies in Canada just cannot help themselves when it comes to following the USA. Wiley used to tell me about a town in the West where he would work on printing presses and the shops and homes had Nazi flags on the walls. Were proud of their Nazi roots. being Wiley it was really difficult for him to stay silent. After all 3 older brothers fought the Nazis in WW11 and one never made it home. Do some of these Science and common decency deniers have any clue how dangerously close they are bringing our peace loving Nations to the brink of civil war I wonder!

Oh, when they catch you like that - I know that feeling. Happened to me at the dermo once. she said, "Take off your socks." No problem. Only they were black and I didn't know it but they had little fibers inside that had stuck to my feet! Fuzz all over. Sooo embarrassing.

I quit shaving my legs years ago. Why dismantle a perfectly good mosquito early-warning system?

Good morning

Can I please borrow your soapbox? Your ranting is right on point. I have much bitching to do myself. These have been some of the crappiest years of our lives in so many ways that it's hard to keep count. I do love your injected humor throughout your ranting.

COVID has brought out the worst in people. That is for sure.

Good Morning

I have read about Canada and the truckers.  I wish everyone could arrive at a peaceful solution to everything that is going on in 2022.  We've already lived through 20' and 21' and I really want things to go smoothly this year.  I've never read about anything like what we have lived through in the past couple of years.  I think those of us that have survived are very resilient.  We are still standing which says a lot about our character.  Thanks for the smile this morning.  I just had one of those tests and I was allowed to keep part of my clothes on.  Thank goodness!

I used to think I had a good handle on human nature, that I had a good

idea what makes people tick (and tic). But the Covid era and the dumb responses to scientific questions and best available medical advice proves me wrong. I don't have a clue as to how/why people are so resistant to vaxxes and masks when such simple precautions can make all the difference. I hadn't heard about the trucking situation north of the Canada/US border until I read this post. The laugh you had with the nurse made all the difference... My grin this morning: at St. B's across the street the pre-dawn guy who preps the school and sanctuary was pushing a salt spreader in the entry driveway as the snow swirled around him - wearing a hooded jacket and shorts. Shorts!  Doofus.  And then I started grinning, thinking "Kids, today, LOL."

Thank you for the smile anyway.

Re:

I rent it out. It costs a Smile.  You have given me many, so you're already prepaid.

It feels good to get it off your chest. I might need to borrow your soapbox soon.
