Re:sassyass
Birds soon know where to visit, and of course, clear water is vital but I expect there
are streams near to your property. Birds here have been lucky these last few years
the ground has not been frozen for long and most folks have bird tables.

Re: Good Afternoon Goldiec
I keep getting emails offering birdseed. I did not know that it would become in short supply. Well done, I expect you have a lot of birds from the woods.

Re Pat
Yes, they look like they are grownup rooks. A bit more dignified. They do make nests in our nearest cemetery. I don't think I have heard you mention Beacon Hill.

Re: Kabu
Well, they do have large beaks, but they cannot help that a pity they are not coloured. Also, they do a good job disposing of roadkill. Tried to catch a young one once but the parents swooped and I chickened out.

I love Crows...never liked them at all but those at Camelot North taught me how to appreciate and help each other.

I have studied crows from time to time, your description is right on target
I must admit it's also true that from time to time crows have studied me. I miss that house on Beacon Hill, even after nearly 20 years.

Good Afternoon
We finally found birdseed for our outside friends. It wasn't easy but we searched and searched till we found some nice treats for them. Stay warm!

They do enjoy a roadside meal
The crows in our area are huge. They enjoy the feed, seed, nuts, and corn that I leave on the ground under my many feeders.

Good morning
Writing rubbish once in awhile is simply a way to get critic feedback so that we know what to do the next time we dare to scribble a few words.
