Sea Gypsy, there is so much need during this time in our world. I wish there were more ways to help them. I've seen news reports about tent cities and I'm not sure how those people can survive without help from the cities.

adnohr, it's wonderful that your shelters are staying open. I give the people that work there every bit of credit. There is such a need for shelters. So many people and now even families need help.

Here's hoping it warms up there. To be homeless in the freezing cold and hungry and shivering is something so sad that I can't understand why there aren't more services to help with the nany needs of these people.

Even with Covid our shelters stay open in this kind of weather. Hats off to those who toil there.

There are a lot of homeless people in Baltimore who will not go into a shelter. It's scary.
Last year, a lot of the shelters were closed due to COVID, and even those who wanted to go to shelters couldn't get in.

It's definitely soup weather - in Rockin' Cleveland and right here in
Beautiful Downtown Mundane. Weather man said it started at 6 degrees this a.m., but it was 8 by the time I woke up. It will be a "balmy" 16 or so this afternoon. (ick)
