I do think something else could come along but in the meantime, we use these things.

I have no idea where technology is heading. nor do I expect to be here long enough to have to learn it all.

BT said it is doing away eventually with wired phones. I upgraded recently and now my phone comes from an electrical socket. I tried to change it back but to no avail.

Good Afternoon
I like my laptop but I do have a smartphone. I don't use it often though. If I needed access to the internet I can use my phone.

I came along to early for the smart phone. I learned about computer stuff in the 1980's and loved it and learned fast as new things came along...to a certain point. Somewhere along the way my memory on how to do things began digressing and by the time I got a smartphone I didn't have the patience to learn how to use it. I gave it away, phone with my landline and use a computer that doesn't have much life left in it.

Good morning
Technology seems to work that way. The newest gadget is here today and gone tomorrow, replaced by a smaller and more sleek device. I personally prefer using my desktop computer over my cellphone. My hubby has a Smartphone and I have an iPhone. Neither is as easy to navigate as my PC.
