UGH! I just read my comment on this post and it sounded awful! It isn't meant that way- I apologize. I can't even use just waking up as an excuse because I had been up most of the night
. What I meant was - you did a great job of turning a difficult topic into a fairy tale. So sorry!

Good Morning
Pat, thanks for the smile this morning! I was never into sports at all but I did like to watch basketball. That was as far as it went. I did take an English class where we had to write an essay each week about something we liked. We had many different topics we could pick from. The only part that made me nervous was the fact that we each had to stand in front of the class and read our essays. I would have never picked a sports topic because I would have had no idea what to write. My grandkids are all involved in sports but as far as me I like to sit on the sidelines and watch them. I'm their biggest supporter. My sons loved football and wrestling and my daughter loved volleyball. As I write this I'm wondering why I didn't like sports. I don't think I'll ever know the answer.

Thank you for a memory
My beloved Mother graduated from high school in 1925 after being a great player on the girls basketball team. One of the things that I loved in her trunk of memories when I was little was her high school yearbooks for they had many pictures of her in her funny bloomer uniforms and funny hairdos.

I would have a job to write about sport at school. You have managed to create a suitable essay. Well, we did run down to the Bomb shelter.

Unless you're writing fairy tales, maybe another topic would be a good idea....

Good morning
Aside from his height, assuming that you are taller than 5'4", one could do worse. In my high school, the girls were allowed to play "powder puff" football. That was not my thing. I was on the track and volleyball team to which that latter I lettered in. As for track, I managed to receive a few 1st & 2nd place ribbons.
