Happy Birthday to Michelle. That's a French name, also made famous by the Beatles, but I'm sure you know that already. I make nearly your same recipe without the hot sauce, and I'm going to try that.

Sassy, the recipe is so good and it's easy too! We buy steak and we cut it into strips. I cut up onions and carrots. First I fry the onions in my wok and then I add carrots and fry those too. The next step is to add the steak and cook it. Then we add broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, and beef broth, and my seasonings. I use garlic powder, parsley, paprika, and celery seed. I also add hot sauce and soy sauce. In another pan I make rice. When everything is done I put the rice on a dish and top it with the ingredients from my wok. It really is very good. I made this recipe up when Michelle was little and she's asked for it for her birthday ever since then.

We got bitter cold, but the snow went just south of this location. I've
made a batch of anything soup today, using up veggies and keeping warm at the same time. I hope your day is joyful and the weather mellows out very soon.

It's sweet that you are making her a birthday dinner. Send me a plate, please? Lol. We are expecting snow too. I don't mind it other than I worry about John navigating his crutches on the slippery sidewalks. I am going to have to keep up with the shoveling and salting so that he doesn't have an accident.
