One would imagine that most folks are motivated by the promise of something extraordinary and fail to recognise it under unusual conditions.

We don't have street buskers in this small town, but I used to enjoy
some wonderful performances in Seattle while in the Public Market area. Didn't always have cash to donate, but people there stopped to listen and applaud. This post is very interesting on many levels.
