I personally prefer Spring if it is a warm one. However, days seem to go so quickly that the seasons appear to just pass by.

Guilty! I prefer winter to the hot weather, although I must admit, with the arthritis kicking in at my age, I'm rethinking it somewhat. If we don't have to leave the house, the sitting by the fire with a warm drink and a good book is my idea of perfect!

Re: Goldiec

Pat, I know winter can be hard but the dreamer in me always sees the magical part of the winter snowfalls.

Good morning

I am with you all the way. I have never been a fan of winter. So far we have not had snow but it's expected by the end of this week. This is not favorable for a hubby on crutches with multiple doctor's appointments. I personally cannot wait until Spring. The first sign of blooming tulips and daffodils never fail to make me smile.

Goldiec

We didn't get snow here, I was simply using the image as a metaphor about winter. I do love the appearance of a transformed world all decked out in fairy sparkles, it's just the chill in my bones I dislike. Plus, of course, the fear of a slip & fall.

Good Morning

Pat, I do love the snow and I think your idea of a day inside sounds wonderful to me.  It's very cold here but no sign of snow.  I hope you get to see the kids playing outside on this winter day.  I would have fun watching them play too.  A warm cup of hot chocolate sounds good to me.  We have the fireplace on and the house is toasty warm.  We will not be venturing outside today.  Now if we could only get some of your snow I would be very happy.  I opened up the kitchen blind so I could see the snow coming down just in case we actually get some of the white stuff on this Monday morning after New Year's Day.  I hope you have a good day.  Stay warm!
