I didn't realize that we could catch fleas from animals in the yard,

but yes, makes sense. I check my beast regularly, and don't really walk in their yard which is fenced off from the rest.

Re: So much in such a small space - so I'll just stick with the one

I suppose in a city there are fish ponds and no farmers who have twelve bores.

Not imaginary for my cousin there were a pair of foxes in her garden and cubs. She had to have her house fumigated, she was being bitten all the time. middle of Oxford

Re: Sea_Gypsy

Yes SG. Sometimes things drive one to drink. A flea loves blood years ago we used to see red spots on the sheet and used a powder to kill the little blighters. We knew the houses that harboured them but it was a part of earning a living. Thank you and I hope you have a better year.

Re: FS

Yes, the little pests are still around. Have you ever seen a flea circus?

Interesting about foxes and fleas. I guess any mammal can get them (save for dolphins and whales).

Somehow I never thought of Foxes having fleas. They must be coming back now fox hunting is out-lawed.

Amazing being able to make a poem about nothing, and still full of humour.  Is that an imaginary fox?

So much in such a small space - so I'll just stick with the one

very interesting tidbit: the fox knowing to swim and get rid of its fleas with a shake of the head. I can just see this happening.  Enjoy your tea.
