Actually, what you are describing are symptoms of the new variant. Do you have access to rapid home tests? Better safe than sorry.

It must be very frustrating. One has had all the worry of Covid and then get the kind
of cough we usually associate with Winter. We have flu injections here, I don't know
if you had one. Charlie is O.K I take it so it cannot be very catching. It just keeps raining here.

Good morning
Oh no, I hope that you feel better. So far, we still have not had snow in Pittsburgh. We had a temperature of 60 on Christmas Day, and today it is raining. It is really bizarre for this time of year to not have had any snow as of yet.

Good Morning
Ciel, I hope that you start feeling better soon. It's no fun to feel sick. Enjoy your grandchildren. I hope you do manage to have quiet time with them. I really missed the snow this year. We are supposed to get snow next Monday. I love snowy days as long as I don't have to go out in it.

Maybe I'm weird, but I do not miss the tantrums of two-year-olds,
or the unending servitude of early motherhood. I do miss the hugs, reading stories to little ones sitting on my lap, and the amazement they share as they make discoveries. My granddaughter lives near Seattle, was stuck in traffic yesterday because of a wreck on the highway for three hours. I'd forgotten what traffic there is like. Prefer to think of foggy mornings downtown, the deep call of foghorns. I hope your cold is better by the time you read this.
