YUM! Real maple syrup with Johnnycake! As kids on the farm, we loved maple syrup season because we knew warm Johnny cake would be served. A favorite treat.

Happy solstice and happy Christrmas to you. What a lovely time you must be having. We had a nice day too out in the cold cold World. Hardly anyone around so we did heaps of last minute shopping.
