Good afternoon
I am happy to hear that you are able to block out the chaos of the world. I am learning to do just that myself. I am as prepared for Christmas as I can be. It's chilly and dreary here today as well. I am just thankful that it's not snowing. I know that many people wish for snow this time of year, but I am not looking forward to the inevitable slip and falls that can come with that beautiful white powdery stuff.

You're a lucky girl to have family around to celebrate and a partner
who works with you to keep hearth and home a warm pocket in a cold world. We have to try to maintain our good spirits in the face of the Covid pandemic and all the stressful spinoffs from it. We may even (in our own minds) find it useful to tell the virus or the politicians or the misinformation transmitters - or all of them - to kiss our royal fannies while we keep calm and carry on.

It's amazing to me just how little cold there has been. I assume it will get colder at some point.

This year, I am not feeling the cold. Still acclimatized to Canada cold. LOL. I bet next year it will feel colder to me.Would love to see your tree all decorated and the presents all beneath.
