Ciel, I think we've got an uphill battle, and from what I can see the pandemic continues with a new variant. I'm not sure the powers that be know what to do. I have both of my vaccines and the booster shot but maybe at this point, I will need another booster for omicron. If they say I should have it I will get it.

Kabu, I'm thinking the same thing as you. There are a lot of people here that do not wear their masks. I guess only time will tell what we are dealing with and what to do about it.

We woke up to a light dusting of snow this morning. It's gone now, but I believe that the serious stuff is on the way. Bundle up, and stay warm.

I read the same about the new covid strain. It scares me too. I feel it may be here amongst us and no one except a very few including me are wearing their mask in public now.

Ciel, I really wish COVID was over. I think a lot of people are afraid of the vaccines and that's why they don't get the shots. I was watching the news earlier and the U.S. is going to start limiting travel to certain countries. It feels like we are headed backward instead of forward at times.

If only everyone would get that shot, that booster, and the next one if it's needed. Without susceptible people walking it around, the bug has no legs, and it would be over.

Omicron is the concern these days. I do have faith things will work out in regard to it. The biggest thing at this point are getting other nations vaccinated. I know the WHO isn't big on the booster shot for non-immunocomprised people.
