Re: Re: Goldiec,
I'm so glad it was a positive experience for Charlie. I never thought about the fact that he would get future business from these shows. That's wonderful.

Re: Kabu,
Sales at this little show were very slow, so the days felt long, but exposure to his audience is never wasted! And two of his Wasteland critters did go home!

Re: Goldiec,
He did all right at this very small show. And every one sets up future business!

Re: CCT,
Yes, he really does love how people respond to his creations! That's as big a reason for his art as making a living!

Re: sassyass,
I still have chicken and some lamb, finished off the squash today... a dab of mashed potatoes are left, and I sent the pie-remains back over to Charlie's side of the duplex. No ham this year, here.

Re: Pat,
The proceeds have improved since he started doing shows and bears, but then pandemic cancelled so many shows! In the coming couple of years, there is a good chance he will be making something of a living! At this show he made enough to pay his bills and have a little over.

I'm so glad that Charlie had some success with his creations. I love his enthusiasm for going to these shows. I always like to hear that someone is interested in his work. I wish you a great weekend.

I suppose half the fun of the exhibition is when folk admire the creation and desire to own it. Glad Thanksgiving went smoothly.

Good afternoon
Food and entertainment sound like a fun day to me. My leftovers have almost been depleted. One last round of ham sandwiches and a side of mashed potatoes and I am free of any signs that Thanksgiving ever happened at all. The turkey leftovers were stored in my daughter's extra fridge and now hers to deal with.

The show and the creativity that goes into making the creatures sound
like a lot of fun, even if the proceeds are not enough to make a real living. The sloth creature sounds very realistic - your description very clear.
