Pat I was never quite sure where this was heading but did suspect it may have something to do with Halloween magic. I mean my own broom works best all through October through early November
. This explains everything as I thought it possibly might. Way better than what I was expecting actually.

TomCat will probably be more cautious in future. It would be a gory fight if they met
again and neither would give in. Although I think there is a limit to which each would go.

Goldiec, I know you saw the connection of the spell coming at the astrological conjunction of certain planets, Halloween and the near-500-year eclipse of the moon... No doubt many other creatures were also captured and released.

Those Tomcats are relentless when it comes to hunting their prey. It's a good thing that the spell has been broken. Those backyard squirrels can now get back to their routine.

Pat, I love this post! Any day that I can read about the Backyard Squirrels is a good day. I've learned something today because I had no idea that squirrels and Tomcats could be under a spell. Be it real life or magic I love it. I write about talking animals so to me, this is the best kind of story. This is 5* quality all the way.
