Re:

Sea Gypsy, it seems like there's been a lot going on here lately.  I think that is awesome that you have two grandsons interested in majoring in Environment studies.  It is wonderful to go into this field in the world we live in today.  I hope they can make a change in our environment.  I hope my turkey turns out moist.  I try so hard not to have a dry turkey.

What a lot of interesting things to read here. I'm glad the lunch went well. You will enjoy being on the committe for conservation. Both of my grandsons are interested in majoring in Environmental...etc. Your turkey will be great and I hope the Covid numbers get better everywhere.

Re: That is a wonderful committee to be a part of in today's world.

Sassy, thank you so much.  It does seem like a wonderful committee.

Re:

FSI, they really gave us a lot of food.  Everyone was taking leftovers home.  It was so good though!

Re: Good afternoon

Sassy, please tell John I said Good Luck and I wish him the best.  I'm worried about him!  He's on his feet too much!

That is a wonderful committee to be a part of in today's world.

They search for grants that help with biological sampling, restoration, and all facets of support for conservation activities. My brother-in-law is a part of the biological sampling. It will be great for you. Your creativity and intelligence will come in handy. Have fun with this.

That luncheon sounds like it would fill me up for a few days.

Good afternoon

Maybe this is why I avoid cooking turkey and stick with my traditional spiral ham. There are so many rules when prepping a turkey and I wouldn't want a dry one or by chance kill someone from it being undercooked. It is really cold here today. We are headed to AHN to get John's ankle x-rayed. He can barely walk, so I pray that they find the issue and fix it. Wish him luck! Have a great day.

Re: I think we're on the verge of another high tide of Covid

Pat, nothing makes sense anymore and I'm not sure it ever will at this point.

I think we're on the verge of another high tide of Covid

and I blame all those vax denying conspiracy nuts who think horse pills and protest signs have anything to do with a kill mechanism that has evolved because we let the global temp get high enough to make it welcome. But who am I to make big theory pronouncements?
