Re: Taps
Taps, I as was saying we had a single-track line it ran for miles from Oxford through villages etc. If only the councils had the foresight it would have made a brilliant roadway, but it was all torn up and built on etc. Hope you are O.K. always nice to see when you write.

RePat
Some of our old trains used to have Ladies only, on the windows of course they went puff, puff and used coal.

Yes, they are outside of course they do not fruit until late spring. They look pretty miserable in winter. Yes I bet the view was awesome

Re: Good Afternoon Sassy
The railway near us was torn up. That was a stupid mistake it led to Oxford. Now the roads are crammed..

Good afternoon
We live near a train station and I love watching the different trains that fly past our home. I rode on a train from Pittsburgh to reno a few years ago. I developed vertigo somewhere along the trip. Never again!

Good afternoon
We wanted to plant strawberries but we ran out of garden space. There is nothing quite like fresh strawberries, pound cake, and whipped topping.

Good Afternoon
I'm wondering if your strawberry plants are outside or in an enclosed area. It would be much too cold to grow strawberry plants during the winter months. I love trains. My grandma used to take me through the mountains on a train. It could be scary when I would look out the window and see how high we were in the mountains.

I haven't got to ride many trains, but the few times I have, the
passing scene was always fascinating - and when it was another train going the opposite direction on another track it was scary. Hope you enjoy the strawberries.

I love this "Train" poem. When I was young we went everywhere outside of KC by train. Even in France we took the train to Paris from Madrid.
