Good afternoon

I love old people too. There are many stories and lots of history to be learned from our older people. I cherished my grandparents, and I find that older people have much more respect for others than that of younger generations. I am not sure exactly when one is considered old, but I am fairly sure that I am almost there. At least my body feels that way.

I love this post. I especially love people, old or young, when they smile.

Taps you will never seem old to me I have so many memories of you and your sons.

Especially a photo of you in a fighting stance only playing around of course.

One is as old as one feels. My S.l.L regularly chats to a woman who is 103 she still lives in her own house.

I love old people, too. For me, it comes down as well to them being a wealth of stories and knowledge. I love hearing how things were.

Good Evening

Taps, I never acknowledge or think about age.  I love all times of our life.  I would like to have fewer aches and pains but it's all good.  The best part of all is that I love people and enjoy meeting new people all the time.  Oh, and I must say I love the holidays too.

Re: I don't mind being old. I just mind the creaky joints, the aches and pains

Yes, it is true that we can't have everything our way.  It is the pain and the problems that let us know we are still alive.  If I wasn't old .....but given the alternative, I love being old.

Kabu, Just think, if I wasn't old, I would miss out on knowing that my 4th Great-grandchild will be born soon.  I would not be seeing the beautiful autumn with its colored leaves.  If I wasn't old I wouldn't be knowing that I still have two wonderful sisters who are alive and lively and loving and get to visit with them in many ways.  I wouldn't get to hear and see my Preacher-Son every Sunday and Wednesday at their church services.  I wouldn't get to communicate with any of you beloved people on Blogit.  If I wasn't old, I'd be dead.

and those times I have trouble with memory. My younger daughter always loved old people. When she was 4 she used to go up the street to visit two or three of the 80-year-olds who lived nearby - and once she took Mrs. S. by the hand and led her home again when she was lost - just at the corner by our house. Now in her early 50's she's an attorney and her practice is senior law, helping elders with planning and managing their paperwork, living wills, etc.

Don't forget all the experience that one conveys to the young.

Such a positive post from a darling Positive person. You have made me stop and think with this Post. I am probably deep inside resenting the aging thing. Feeling frustated, not scared but annoyed with myself when I get so tired.
