Re: Kabu,
Oddly, the plants are still growing nicely. One is a gourd that 'volunteered' this year, the other is my most ancient plant, some kind of mint, I'm told, that was given me as a house-warming gift some 6+ years ago!

Those little baskety things you crocheted might be a good start for a
bird's nest.

Good evening
Rodents do love cat food. I put hot dogs, marshmallows, and dinner scraps out for the raccoons, squirrels, bunnies, groundhogs, and chipmunks, but our neighbor's cats have been getting to the food first. When I clean, I also use Clorox. In my opinion, it is the safest bet for eliminating germs and whatever else that makes its way into my home.

Mr Graysome is such a great mouser. I know there are mice here but one made the mistake of coming into the house and paid the price. As for the tunnels some one must have trimmed the roots of the plants or something.

Re: Goldiec,
Crochet is easier to do than knitting. I'd look online, on youtube, for instructions on how-to.
When I find a mouse access hole, I stuff it with steel wool.

Good Evening
Ciel, I would love to be able to crochet. I hope you share pictures! Every year one mouse usually gets in the house and then for a couple days, we go in hunt of the said mouse. Last year Roy went around the house and plugged anything that they might be able to get into and last year there were no mice. We were all thankful for that.
