Re: Good Afternoon Goldiec

Thank you , We always wrap up warm, sadly many do not and a damp cold is quite lethal. Sadly I have been told that bird flu has been detected in I suppose birds arriving here for the winter. I do hope it doesn't spread to our regular garden birds.

Sassyass

Sassy if you had a greenhouse you would have to heat it to make a difference.

Some flowers grow slowly flowering in winters such as Greenhouse carnations and Chrysanthemums. We use ours mainly for seed raising and growing on young plants.

Re:Taps

He is another good son, not many around like him, I am sure Phil loves to give you the flowers. You deserve them.

Chiff Chaff

Son Stephen can't pass up "Sweet Flowers to sell" if the yellow roses or lilacs or tulips or whatever in his yard have finished blooming and he wants to bring Mom flowers.  Then he lets Phil carry them in to Grandma, and they both have big smies on their faces.

I am thankful for the flower growers and sellers. It is sweet that you would give them away.

Good afternoon

You are quite the gardener. Growing from seed does take a long time, and you have to have some knowledge of their care. I would love to have a small greenhouse to continue growing through the cooler months, but I have no time or place for that. You will be well-stocked come Spring.

Good Afternoon

C_C_T, you are such a kind soul!  Stay warm!  When there is frost and the temps are dropping you should sit by the fire till you feel toasty warm.
