So I came in time to read that Sister Nila was to the rescue! Wonderful!

Joe vs the Volcano
In the movie Joe vs the Volcano, he has a brain cloud. He was convinced it was incurble so he scarificed himself to save the whapoonies. It was a running joke when I had a forgetful or wooky day. Then fibro fog set in. A forever disconnect between body and mind. If mind is sharp and ready the body won't cooperate. If the body is rearing to go the mind is discombobulated. Either way, it ends up a day in recliner wondering what to do.

Well Taps you are doing much better than you were, that is an achievement .
I would probably rate myself as seven and a half today. I hope it is not out of one hundred.

Re: Good afternoon
Sister Nila raised my scale from listless to lively. She can do that so easily...a smile, a hug, a gift, a laugh, an invite out to do something interesting. Everyone needs a Sis like that. A bite to eat together, a fun trip to Scimeca's Italian Deli for later, a cup of hot coffee loaded with caffein instead of decaff. It doesn't take much to get me going when she is around.

Good afternoon
I have had a few of those gray head days where the brain fog just doesn't allow for anything constructive to get done. I hope that your headache and brain fog lift ASAP!

Good Afternoon
Taps I've never thought of this before today. I think I would have to say I was in the middle of the scale. I have my squash cooking from the garden and that always makes me happy. I wish you could smell it. I'm making it with butter and brown sugar. I'm getting my recycling ready to go out tonight and we may get some snowflakes today. I love the first snow. It is so beautiful. We still have very pretty leaves on the trees but a lot have fallen on the ground. I hope you have a wonderful day.

I have to gauge that lively to listless thing by what I have accomplished
today that my mother would approve of. Dusting, straightening the kitchen, "combing my face and fixing my hair" as she put it, doing something for the good of all (in the family) were all approved accomplishments. Reading? Not so much. I hope your gauge flips over to lively and you find a poem floating in your mind today.
