Re:
Annicita, we all love those pretzels. I have to make them at home because there's nowhere to buy them right now.

adnohr, I've been to Atlantic City and I can remember the first time I went I wanted to move there. I loved the boardwalk. I'm so happy that you like my little people. I've always had fun with them.

Re:
Sea Gypsy, I also hope your COVID numbers are good. That would be a real blessing after what we've all lived through.

I'm hoping for good Covid numbers here also. It must be fun to make pretzels. I've never done so.

Re: Re: It sounds good. I will have to try it with cheese.
I love cheese on nachos, so why not pretzels? We get the big oven-baked pretzels at the Dollar Tree. I believe they come in a package of 6. Not bad for $1.00.

Re: Yum! I love warm pretzels.
Sassy, we love to dip our pretzels in cheese sauce. I have one box in the freezer so I have to buy more when we get to the store.

Good afternoon
Wow! It's much chillier in Ohio than it is here. We are still in our forties. I am dreading seeing my flowers die from the frost.

The chill of mornings is a regular thing now, here, with afternoons bouncing around 40s, 50s, 60s and even 70s later this week. Snow--real, sticking snow--is only a matter of time!

FSI, it's true it would be very beneficial for you to have the salt trucks out on the road.

Re: I guess it's time for us to have "frost on the pumpkin" - November...
Pat, you are so right! We are living in a historical moment in time and life will change forever when COVID is a thing of the past. I don't think I could forget any of what we've all been through. In the beginning, it was very upsetting and now each day we have to deal with what happened the day before. I wonder if there will be another booster for all of us? If this virus keeps mutating it's going to be with us for a while.

We got our first frost. I don't see there being much of an uptick with temperatures. I'm ready for it. We could use the roads being salted given the industry I'm in.

Not ready for snow flurries in any way, shape or form. Having it slippery underfoot is a nightmare for me. Speaking of history: was just thinking we will one day be looking back at the Covid pandemic as a "hinge" event, when everything changed. Oldsters like me remember how it was before the war, Korea, Vietnam, etc., but in a year or two we'll be remembering how it was before Covid and how things changed. We're living a historical moment in time. I hope you're taking notes.
