How wonderful not to lose anyone during the war. Our Wiley lost his eldest brother who was in the air-force. i think losingher son ruined the rest of his Mother's life.

Happy Halloween
I'm so thankful that the picnic ended safely and your little brother was saved on that fateful day. It's a blessing that everyone in your family came home from the war safe and sound. When you mentioned Coke it made me think of my grandma. She loved the small glass bottles of Coke. I think they had a green tint to the bottles. Isn't it funny how random thoughts just pop into my mind?

Happy Halloween such a vivid recall. I know many rivers had deep holes and were
rather dangerous to poor swimmers, but one usually knew where they were.

Good morning
Thank goodness for that underwater fence. I am sure that Jimmy has never forgotten that day, wearing a girl's dress, sipping coca-cola, and his life being spared. Happy Halloween. Have a wonderful day!
