I really like just about any kind of cabbage fixed any way at all. My Mom being Bohemian/Czech always had a barrel of souerkraut going in the basement and one of my favorite things was sauerkraut and dumplings.

I don't care for spearmint, but do like cilantro and caraway and capers. I'll check out recipes for the red cabbage - your post has whetted my appetite!

Good evening
That sounds delicious and I'm not German either. I love red cabbage, but my favorite way to eat it is shredded up in a salad or in coleslaw. It is time to start thinking about heartier winter dishes though.
