Hoarding has been a big problem throughout this pandemic. I'm looking forward to when normal shopping patterns return.

I'm not overly fond of hospitals. I've been in them a lot in my lifetime as a patient and also as a nurse. I'd much rather be out in the great outdoors or napping on my own bed in my own room.

Pat, I think after what we've all been through with COVID we've learned a lot. I am excited to make my fudge.

I too worry about Covid. Very few people here are still wearing their masks but I do whenever I go out.

Good afternoon
It's a shame that they put a limit on food items, but Roy is right, people tend to hoard, leaving nothing for everyone else. Our rain has stopped, but it is still chilly and wet. We had a surprise this morning when two Blue Jays arrived for their birdy buffet reservations. Hope you enjoy the fudge. have a great day!

You'll let us know how the fudge turns out? We are fortunate in this area with no Covid at the moment. Rule for masks and washing hands still in force in public places, although bars and restaurants are to open fully on November 1st. However, one needs a vaccination passport to enter, so that should keep things safe for a bit.

We seem to be living with an endless number of stressors these days.
Reminds me of a saying my mom used to quote: What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Seems to me you're wise to focus on the fudge and the safe parties...
