Only one squirrel and chippy sighting in the past 2 weeks. My birds seem to have moved on, even if the feeders are full, except for the mouthy one inside. I could say she makes up for the lack of the others...
. I was listening to Demis Roussos earlier, but have slipped into my usual classic rock - AC/DC is it!

I have a pair of Cardinals that live here. the male often sits in the tree and watches me through the kitchen window.

Good Afternoon
It's quite chilly here today. Our birds have moved along with all our furry friends. I wonder if this means we are going to have a bad winter?

Now and then I get a thrilling view of a Cardinal. There is a pair of them
living in the neighborhood. Haven't seen a bluejay in ages. Our temps here are forecast to level off at about 60 this afternoon after a low in the upper 40s. Hope it stays a bit mild at least through Halloween so the kids can have fun.

Yes, it depends on that for me, too, and also, what mood I'm in. Another favorite here is James Galway, the Irish flautist who plays a golden flute! And Patrick Ball's Irish harp music.

I think you'd like the Stellar's jay--but they don't visit as far east as eastern jays go west!

Good morning
We had those nice temps here in Pittsburgh a few days ago, but not today. I also spotted a Blue Jay. He came for a short visit to feast at my birdie buffet and then he was gone in a flash.
