FSI, I think the missionaries can use many prayers for their safe return. I don't think anyone is safe in Haiti right now. It's like a lawless land.

Ciel, the tornadoes came out of the blue. Nobody expected them and that's the worst part of all. We made it through summer and we are now in Fall and now this!

Sassy, your heart soup sounds delicious. What is Maryland crab soup? We love grilled cheese sammies! They are the best! I feel better just knowing your brother is working with the Haiti refugees down in Virginia. I think the refugees are safe here. I think you are right and it's a hard world we live in now.

Tornadoes are the scariest, especially because they can come at night, unseen in advance. I'm glad you weren't touched by them, and sorry so many others were!

Good morning
It's chilly, gloomy, and raining here today too. It is supposed to clear up by noon. I believe that it is going to drop near freezing tonight, so I need to bring my plants indoors. I need to make a run to the store to stock up. I am planning on making a hearty, stick to the ribs soup later today for dinner. Probably John's favorite, hamburger soup. I am going to make Maryland crab soup for myself. I will serve the soup with grilled cheese sammies. My brother is working with the Haiti refugees down in Virginia. They cannot read or write, and they are fearing for their lives. Our world is just in one big hot mess. God help us all. Hope you have a great day.
