Good afternoon
It amazes me at just how long they will work on opening one nut. I do believe that they inform the troops that there is a bounty waiting for them to dive into because one squirrel can suddenly turn into six. They are fun to watch though, so I do try to keep them well stocked with a variety of nuts.

Squirrel time again. We only have one I think. Archie picked up two pailfuls of
walnuts, I think the last fortnight of rain just saved them here. Last year most shells were empty.
Your squirrels have to be road conscious. I am glad they are back. Life is not easy
for them. I hope they have good hiding places.

Good Morning
Pat, I love the Backyard Squirrels! I'm glad you posted this today. I try to keep up with the neighborhood squirrels. The cold winter is coming and they must be quick to gather all the nuts they can before they are buried in the snow.
