it sounds like a fun job for a "young Lady" All the renovations and men not really used to working with her there and I had to laugh at having to put his words into acceptabler language as you ryped. Great experience.

Good Afternoon
Pat, thanks for sharing this post. I can just imagine the way your days played out from one week to the next. I'm sure you have many stories that you could share.

Good afternoon
First of all, I have to tell you that I thoroughly enjoy your stories. Mr. Cook's phraseology as you refer to it is typical of the many guys that work in this field. Being married to a military man and being around the many Navy bases during our marriage, I have met many of these characters who share that same phraseology, my hubby included. What a wonderful guy he had to have been with his quirky fashion style, manners towards a lady, business ethics, and of course, his way of interjecting the occasional obscenity. Have a great day!

Pat it is amazing when one thinks about it. You could not have been very old to take
on the responsibility. Sometimes Women do amazing things. Of course, you hit the
reality of life early. I remember a woman who wrote on here a few years ago.
She told me That she had worked in an engineering factory she was the only woman
and it was a large concern, she was not given any easy jobs. Goodness knows why
she stuck it.
